This Cookie Policy explains how Pitchbox, LLC d/b/a LinkIndex (“LinkIndex,” “we,” “our,” or “us“) uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing website at linkindex.com, on the LinkIndex platform, and on pages that agencies host through our agency tools (together, the “Services“). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information.
Where the law requires your consent to cookies, we ask for it through the cookie banner described in Section 5. Where it does not, we use cookies as described here.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow us and certain third parties to recognize your browser, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use our site, and measure and deliver advertising.

Marketing website. Our public pages at linkindex.com use all four categories of cookies described in Section 3, including advertising cookies from the partners listed there.
Platform. The logged-in LinkIndex platform (the Buyer Portal, the Seller Portal and account pages) uses strictly necessary, functional and analytics cookies only. We do not use advertising or targeting cookies inside the platform, and we do not share platform activity with advertising partners.
Agency-hosted pages. Proposal pages and payment pages that agencies host on their own domains through our agency tools set only the cookies needed to display the page, keep it working and record the visit. They do not set advertising cookies.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the Services to function and enable core features such as login, session security, checkout and fraud prevention. Without them, the Services cannot operate properly. They do not require consent.
Examples: session management, authentication, security tokens, cookie-consent preferences.
3.2 Performance and analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Services so we can improve performance and user experience.
Examples: Google Analytics cookies that collect data on page views, referral sources and feature usage. Where consent is required, these are set only after you accept them.
3.3 Functional cookies
These cookies remember your preferences, such as language, region, display settings and which portal you last used, to provide a more personalized experience.
Examples: remembering your login session or preferred display options.
3.4 Advertising and targeting cookies (marketing website only)
These cookies are used on our marketing website to deliver ads relevant to your interests, both on LinkIndex and on other websites, and to measure ad performance, limit how often you see an ad and refine our marketing campaigns. Where consent is required, they are set only after you accept them.
We may use advertising and tracking cookies from partners including:
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): remarketing, conversion tracking and audience insights
- Google Ads and YouTube: search, video and display advertising measurement
- LinkedIn Ads: business-to-business audience analytics and targeting
- X (formerly Twitter): engagement tracking and interest-based ads
- TikTok Ads: campaign optimization and conversion measurement
- Other partners we may work with from time to time for retargeting, measurement and attribution
These partners may use their own cookies or identifiers to collect information about your browsing and associate it with your account on their platforms. Their use of that information is governed by their own privacy policies.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties that provide analytics, advertising, payment or embedded content. We do not control these cookies, and their use is governed by the privacy policies of the respective providers. Payment pages provided by PayPal and Stripe set their own cookies for security and fraud prevention.
5. Managing Cookies and Preferences
Cookie banner. Visitors in regions where consent is required (including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and California) see a cookie banner on their first visit. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies there, and change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer of our website. Non-essential cookies are not set until you accept them.
Browser settings. Most browsers let you delete or block cookies. Look under “Help” or “Settings” in your browser for instructions. Disabling cookies may affect your ability to use some features of the Services.
Global Privacy Control. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser as a request to opt out of advertising cookies and of the “sharing” of personal information described in Section 6.
Advertising opt-outs. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through the settings of individual advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and the industry tool at YourAdChoices.
6. “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” (US state residents)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar laws in other US states, sharing data through advertising cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. You can opt out of such sharing at any time by rejecting advertising cookies in our cookie banner or settings, by sending a Global Privacy Control signal, or by emailing dataprotection@linkindex.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.”

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices, our partners or legal requirements. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and the cookie banner will ask for your consent again where a change requires it.
